The Dashboard is the first screen you see when you open OS Calendar from the Joomla administrator menu (Components → OS Calendar). It provides a quick overview of your booking system's current status and gives you quick access to the most common management tasks.
At the top of the dashboard, four key statistics are displayed:
| Card | Description |
|---|---|
| Total Orders | Total number of booking requests ever submitted to the system. |
| Pending Orders | Booking requests that are waiting for confirmation (status = Pending). |
| Completed Orders | Booking requests that have been paid and confirmed (status = Confirmed). |
| Today's Revenue | Total revenue from confirmed orders placed today; also shows the current month's revenue. |
The Quick Actions section contains shortcut buttons to the most frequently used areas:
| Button | Destination |
|---|---|
| Manage Booking Requests | Opens the list of all booking orders. |
| Manage Payment Plugins | Opens the payment plugin manager. |
| Manage Email Templates | Opens the email template manager. |
| Manage Extra Fields | Opens the extra field manager for the booking form. |
| Report Generate | Opens the booking revenue report. |
| Configuration | Opens the OS Calendar global configuration page. |
| Text Translation | Opens the front-end label translation tool. |
If a newer version of OS Calendar is available, a notification banner is displayed at the top of the dashboard. The banner shows the current installed version and the available version, and provides a direct link to Extensions → Manage → Update to perform the upgrade.
