Configuration

Overview
The OS Calendar Configuration page is accessible via Components → OS Calendar → Configuration or via the Configuration shortcut on the Dashboard. It is organised into six tabs.
Upgrade Tab

| Download ID |
Enter the Download ID obtained from your account at joomdonation.com. Required for automatic updates via Joomla's built-in updater. |
Application Tab
Booking Settings
| Field |
Description |
| Enable Reservation |
Enable or disable the online booking feature globally. When disabled, customers cannot make reservations. |
| Operation Mode |
Standalone (default): manage your property directly in OS Calendar; OS Property is not needed. Linked: synchronise properties with OS Property. See Operating Modes. |
| Only Registered Users Can Book |
When set to Yes, only logged-in Joomla users can submit a booking request. Guests will be prompted to log in or register before proceeding. |
Cancellation Policy

| Allow Cancel the Booking Request |
Allow customers to cancel their own bookings from the front-end (My Orders / My Bookings page). The refund amount follows the Cancellation Policy of the rate plan (see Cancellation Policies). |
| Allow Cancel Before (days) |
The minimum number of days before the check-in date within which cancellation is permitted. E.g. set to 3 to allow cancellation only if the check-in is more than 3 days away. |
Notifications

When enabled, OS Calendar sends automated email notifications to the customer and site administrator when a booking is submitted, confirmed, or cancelled. |
Special Notes

Free-text notes or instructions shown on the booking confirmation page. Useful for house rules, check-in procedures, etc. |
Date & Time Formats

The date format used throughout the component (e.g. Y-m-d, d/m/Y). |
| Time Format |
The time format used throughout the component (e.g. H:i, h:i A). |
Payment Tab

| Currency |
Default currency code displayed in the booking form and order details (e.g. USD, EUR). |
| Currency Format |
Currency symbol or code displayed next to prices (e.g. $, €). |
| Use SSL for Payment |
Force HTTPS for the payment confirmation page. Recommended when using real payment gateways. |
| Use CAPTCHA |
Enable CAPTCHA on the booking form to prevent spam submissions. |
Pricing Tab

| Tax Rate (%) |
Default tax percentage applied to all booking orders. |
| Include Tax in Price |
When enabled, prices displayed to the customer already include tax. |
| Minimum Nights |
Minimum number of nights required for a booking. |
| Maximum Nights |
Maximum number of nights allowed for a single booking. |
Other Tab

| Date Search in Property Types |
Only relevant when OS Property is installed. Restricts the availability date search to selected OS Property property types. |
| Real Time Offset (hours) |
Time zone offset in hours relative to server time. Used for accurate current-date calculations. |
Invoice Tab

| Invoice Prefix |
Prefix added to invoice numbers (e.g. INV-). |
| Show Invoice |
Show or hide the invoice download link on the order detail page. |
| Invoice Notes |
Custom notes printed at the bottom of the PDF invoice. |
| Company Name / Address / Phone / Email / Logo |
Company information printed on PDF invoices. |
After making changes, click Save (or Apply to save without closing) in the toolbar.
