System Requirements

OS Calendar requires a working Joomla installation. OS Property is not required.

  • Joomla 4.2.x, 5.x or 6.x
  • PHP 8.1 or above
  • MySQL 5.7 or above (or MariaDB 10.3+)
  • OS Property — optional. Only needed if you want to link OS Calendar with OS Property properties (latest version recommended).

PHP Settings
Most installation problems on shared hosting servers are caused by limited PHP resources. Check and increase the following settings if needed.

post_max_size
Amount of data allowed in a single form POST submission. Increase if you experience issues submitting large booking forms.

upload_max_filesize
Maximum size for a single uploaded file. Relevant if you allow file attachments on booking forms.

max_execution_time
Maximum time in seconds a PHP script is allowed to run before it is terminated. Increase to at least 120 on slow servers.

memory_limit
Memory available to a single PHP script. A minimum of 128M is recommended; 256M is preferred.

You may adjust these values in your php.ini file or via an .htaccess file if your hosting provider allows it.
