EDocman PDF Indexer plugin

PDF Indexer plugin is used to read and store the contents of the PDF file for the purpose of allowing user to be able to search through contents of document files. It allows users to search the documents online easily instead of downloading multiple files to desktop for searching.

This plugin needs the PHP core function: popen to be enabled.

How to setup

You should go to Extensions -> Plugins to filter "Edocman - Indexer plugin" and enable it.

After publishing this plugin, when you upload new document, the content of PDF file will be indexed and stored into database. From Edocman 1.8.6, this plugin is included in Edocman package, and it allows to index file types: PDF, DOC and DOCX.
